Cinematography Breakdowns
Browse the galleries below to see various samples of set ups we’ve done in the past. Each slideshow includes a set of images used in the final videos.
On location Interview:
Over the years, our team has filmed countless on-location interviews in classrooms, concert venues, universities, studios, and individuals’ homes.
While we approach every room a bit differently, our typical base package for single-guest interviews is a 3 camera setup consisting of a medium, close up, and wide slider shot.

Musical Performance:
From musicians to dancers, poets, authors, and more we have experience from pre to post in creating performance videos. Whether it’s solo performance or a more complicated musical arrangement, we work hard at creating original content.

Emmy nominated for Multicam editing
Emmy award winning for audio mix in television series
Direct-to-Camera Teleprompter:
Our direct-to-camera teleprompter setup is completely mobile and fully customizable. Whether you need a short call to action, a thank you, or a detailed explainer video, using the teleprompter is a great way to keep eye contact with your audience and get your message just right.

On Location Conversation:
Sometimes it’s best to let the connection between two individuals tell the story. Typically, we would approach this with a five camera setup giving plenty of flexibility in the approach on set, as well as in the edit.

Flexible set up:
We always promise to offer a flexible setup, making the necessary accommodations for each individual guest.
For example, Governor Shapiro’s management asked that we not use lavalier microphones during his interview, limiting us to overhead shotgun mics. Rather than keep the frame tight and miss out on the expansive reception room, we filmed a video plate without the mic above his head and replaced the mic with a clean background in post.

On Location Dual Interview:
Filmed backstage, with Brandon Flowers and Ronnie Vannucci of The Killers, this four camera setup allowed us time with both band members while on a limited schedule.

Live Concert set up:
As with any shoot, giving yourself plenty of time to set up for a live concert or event is extremely important. Arriving well ahead of time allows us ample opportunity to discuss camera placement with venue management, review mobile camera rules, and set up a board recording with the audio engineers.

Mobile B-roll:
Utilizing a small gimbal rig equipped with remote follow focus and camera control enables us to capture the shot, regardless of whether time is limited or abundant. Moving the camera in sync with the subject introduces an additional dynamic element and opens up a variety of possibilities for complex setups or run-and-gun footage.
Exterior Interview:
By employing a combination of large diffusion panels, flags, external monitors, and microphone protection, we can ensure a consistently high-quality image and sound.
